Holocaust Remembrance Day

“For the dead and the living, we must bear witness.” –Elie Wiesel

January 27 marks the anniversary of the liberation of the largest Nazi death camp: Auschwitz-Birkenau. Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we take a moment to remember the six million Jews, including 1.5 million children, who lost their lives during the Holocaust. Most importantly today, we take a moment to remind ourselves to practice tolerance and compassion towards others. To be gracious and respectful to all people even if their views or opinions differ from our own.
